American Freestyle Karate (ages 6 and up) is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a more traditional Martial Arts setting. This one hour class is a blend of Okinawan Kempo, Kodokan Judo and Brazilian Jiu jitsu. There is a wealth of Martial Arts knowledge to be gained while attending this class. There is a traditional Karate belt testing and ranking system in place for the class. Which gives its students something to study and strive for. Students will have the opportunity to share what they learned in public class demonstrations and competitions. Students will gain confidence and grow as Martial artists by learning a whole array of new skills from Katas (forms) to board breaking. Students will also be given the opportunity to learn the art of several weapons forms. The instructors for this class have a combined training history of over 35 years!
